Our expert guides will show you some of Savannah’s most historic sites and explain what makes them such a special part of the fabric of Savannah living. Our bike tours are 2-hours long with typically 4-6 stops along the leisurely ride and offer a great overview of Savannah to get your trip started!
Historic Bike Tour
You’ll be led by one of our knowledgeable local tour guides through Savannah’s Downtown Historic District over the course of your 2-hour bike tour. Guides lead you to stops in Savannah’s charming squares to share some of the city’s history, while your ride allows you to take in the beauty, both natural and architectural, of Savannah in the best possible way. You’ll see more than a walking tour and get closer to the sites than on a trolley. As an added bonus, you just might learn more too!

Historic Bike Tour + Keep Your Bike After the Tour
This option takes everything great about our historic bike tour and combines it with everything great about our daily bike rentals! Enjoy our 2-hour historic bike tour then keep the fun going! We’ll set you up with bike locks, a map, and anything else you might need to enjoy your ride after the tour, you’ll have the bikes until 5pm. Your guide will send you off with plenty of recommendations to check out by bike. Don’t worry if you don’t hit them all, just ask us about our multi-day rates at the shop!

Bachelorette Package
It’s her last ride before she’s the bride! If you and your squad will be in Savannah for one last fling, a Bachelorette Package with Savannah On Wheels is the way to go.
Our package features a private tour for your group; an individually-curated ride that adds Instagram Stops to our traditional historical tour. If you’re interested in our daily bike tour in the privacy of your own group, no problem, we’ve got you. Or, simply tell us what you’re interested in and we will curate a tour just for your group. We have FREE PARKING on Hall St. so we would like everyone to arrive 15 minutes before a tour starts. We strive to get underway on time, so we appreciate it if you can try to keep to the allotted tour time. Please use the restroom prior to your departure.
If you are running late please call us to let us know and we will do our best to hold up the tour for a reasonable period of time or catch you up to the tour if it has left.

We are minutes away by foot from most bed and breakfasts. You can also take the DOT free shuttle to our store from anywhere in the downtown area. Exit at the Hall Street stop and head west on Hall Street (away from the park) and we are just a few blocks west in between Montgomery Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
13. What Is Your Cancellation/Refund/Rain Policy?
We do experience the occasional shower here in Savannah, but a complete washout is rare. If it is raining on the day of your tour, we encourage you to bring a poncho or purchase one from our shop. If your tour has been cancelled, you will receive notification at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. A little rain can result in a lot of fun, so if it's sprinkling out and you haven't received a text, the tour is on! In the event of extreme weather conditions, we will reschedule the tour if possible, but if the tour is unable to be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable time, we will refund the full price of the tour.
14. What Is Your Safety Policy?
Each customer is responsible for maintaining their own safety at all times. Savannah On Wheels will not be liable for any injuries caused to a customer unless it is as a result of negligence on our part. By agreeing to take part in the tour, all customers are agreeing to follow the safety instructions given by the guide and to exercise due care and attention whilst cycling. If a participant is unable to ride a bicycle safely, the tour leader may ask the person to stop riding. No refund will be given.
CUSTOMER CONDUCT and SAFETY
Savannah On Wheels may, at its discretion, require any person to be excluded from a tour if the we deem his or her conduct to be offensive or a nuisance to other customers. The Company also reserves the right to refuse access to participate on a particular tour should circumstances be deemed to compromise tour safety.

Yes! We have lots of FREE street parking at and around our shop! Parking on West Hall Street is free and legal, and usually plentiful.
