At Savannah on Wheels, it’s not just a bike rental, included with it you’ll also pick up a map with recommended routes, bike locks, a basket or handlebar bag, and a helmet if you’d like one. We offer both traditional and electric bikes and, with rentals as short as 2 hours and as long as a month, we’re sure we’ve got an option that’s right for every traveler. Electric Bikes
Grab an electric bike and explore Savannah your own way! Our electric bikes have both pedal assist and throttle options. These are great for riders who might need assistance to make it a full day on a bike or for riders looking to maximize their time in Savannah. Zoom around town at up to 20mph! Helmets (optional), locks, and a recommended route are included. Note that e-bike riders must be at least 16 years old with a driver’s license or learner’s permit.

A more traditional bike rental never goes out of style in the Hostess City! Hop on one of our well maintained multi-speed hybrid or cruiser-style bikes and explore all that historic Savannah has to offer. The biggest difference between our bikes and others, we leave the rust at home. We include locks, a highlighted map with a suggested route, basket or handlebar bag, cup holder, and helmets (if you would like them, mandatory 16&under). Coaster brakes available upon request.

Tandem Bikes
Savannah’s even better with a friend, so grab your bestie or significant other and hop on one of our tandem bicycles to ride together. With daily and multi-day rates available, you can see Savannah in tandem style all week long. Our tandems include everything our traditional bike rentals include; locks, helmets, and highlighted map with a suggested route.

Trike – Tricycle
This 3-speed tricycle with handbrake and coaster brake (pedal) offers freedom and stability for adults of all ages, perfect for a neighborhood cruise or run to the market. In addition to the large basket on the back of the tricycle, you’ll get a lock, helmet, and a great route of the city.

Road Bikes
For the serious cyclist! Looking to zip around more than just downtown? Trying to burn off some calories from Savannah’s famous fried chicken with a longer ride? Whatever the reason, we’ve got the road bike rental you need. Take advantage of Savannah’s flat terrain to log some personal records and stretch your ride as far as you’d like. We’ll get you set up with recommended routes beyond downtown, an emergency kit (extra inner tube, co2 cartridges, tire levers, and patch kit), bike lock, lights, and helmet.

Kids Options
At Savannah on Wheels we offer bike rentals for the whole family! Keep the good times rolling with a fleet for the fam. We have 20″ and 24″ bikes for children to ride on their own. We also have options for those who would prefer to have them closer to you while you navigate. We have trailers that tow behind traditional bikes holding up to 2 children. We also have electric bike options with seating for 1 or up to 2 children behind the adult.

7. Do You Offer Weekly Rentals?
Yes, you may choose "Full Week" option when reserving online or feel free to call us at (912) 777-4620 to reserve. It is required that bike is kept inside during the night. Weekly rentals get the 6th and 7th day FREE!
8. What Is Your Bike Rental Cancellation Policy?
A booking may be cancelled without penalty up to 24 hours prior the rental reservation. No refund will be offered within 24 hours prior to the reservation date. If you need to miss your reservation for any reason with advanced notice, we will gladly move your reservation to another day where we have availability. Refunds will not be offered to customers who fail to turn up for their reservation on the designated date.
We do experience the occasional shower here in Savannah, but a complete washout is rare. If it is raining on the day of your reservation, we encourage you to bring a poncho or purchase one from our shop. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we will work with you to adjust your reservation as needed.
