We’ve always believed that bikes bring people together — whether it’s for fun, fitness, or just a fresh way to explore Savannah. Now, we’re adding another reason to ride: giving back to the community we love.
That’s why we’re thrilled to launch Pedal with Purpose, a new monthly community ride designed to combine cycling, local dining, and charitable giving. Starting September 21, 2025, the ride will take place on the third Sunday of every month at 5:30pm, beginning at our shop and covering a scenic, social 5–7 mile route.
But here’s the best part: each ride ends at a local restaurant where participants can purchase food and drinks, and a portion of the sales will be donated to a featured nonprofit organization. Every month we’ll highlight a different charity, meaning every ride supports a new cause making a difference right here in our community.
Why Pedal with Purpose?
For years, we hosted an annual charity ride in support of Georgia Rescue, Rehabilitation, & Relocation (GRRR). While it was a wonderful event, it was also costly to produce. We wanted to find a way to keep that spirit of giving alive — but in a more sustainable, ongoing way.
Pedal with Purpose is our answer. By keeping it simple and local, we can support more organizations throughout the year, while also creating a fun, consistent gathering that anyone can join.

And the best part? There’s no charge to ride. We only ask that you register in advance so we know who’s coming and can plan for the group.

The inaugural Pedal with Purpose kicks off on September 21, 2025 with A Taco Affair as our host restaurant and proceeds benefiting Bike Walk Savannah. We’d love for you to be part of the very first ride as we start this new tradition in Savannah.
