At Savannah on Wheels we always strive to make you feel at home. There’s no better way to do that than by showing you around all the most beautiful homes in town! Once you get the lay of the land on our Historic Bike Tour, swing by for our new Mansion Tour. Or start your Savannah vacation with this casual ride through Savannah’s Historic and Victorian Districts. Along the way, we’ll be stopping to get a closer look at some of the best homes Savannah has to offer. You’ll get an opportunity to hear about the architecture, the residents, and a sprinkle of Savannah’s history. It’s also a perfect opportunity to capture some photos! Between stops, we’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of Savannah as we glide through some of the oldest parts of the city. This is the perfect tour for the sightseer, the architecture aficionado, or the photographer of your group. Keep an eye out on our website for details!

Savannah On Wheels Donates Electric Bike

to Raise Money for Coastal Pet Rescue

Coastal Pet Rescue is hosting a Blue Jeans Soiree to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and it could be your chance to win an e-bike! The event takes place on Sunday, April 30th at La Scala Ristorante from 5-8pm and will feature food, drinks, entertainment, and a silent auction. Coastal Pet Rescue saves over 600 pets per year, providing rescue, foster care, veterinary care, and sterilization for animals in county animal shelters that would otherwise be euthanized. Their facility, Camp Pawsawhile Retreat, is used to facilitate emergency or last minute rescues of canines and felines from hoarding situations, or animal control euthanasia, until a foster home is available. Savannah On Wheels was happy to donate an e-bike to help raise money for this important local animal rescue. Let the bidding begin!

Named to South Magazine’s Greatest Pets

We’re proud parents here at Savannah On Wheels because our little guy Jack was named one of South Magazine’s Greatest Pets for 2023! We adopted our handsome, sweet little man from the Atlanta Humane Society in 2018 and he’s been a member of the family ever since. He’s the inspiration for the charity work that we do with local rescues, and he makes us smile every day. Thank you to those of you who voted! We love you, buddy!

Local Rescue Spotlight

This month we’re shining a spotlight on Cotton, from Coastal Pet Rescue. He’s in his blue jeans and ready for the soiree on April 30th! Cotton is a high energy, playful two year old boy. He loves walks and does well on a leash. He is very eager to learn and would be a great addition to your home. He is good with dogs when appropriately introduced. Because he was extremely matted, he now has a very short haircut. This will help his fur to grow back and be maintained as it should be to keep Cotton looking his best!

If you’re considering bringing a pup into your home, PLEASE consider your local animal rescues and county animal shelter facilities. They are all busting at the seams right now and need your help!
